Before enrolling into DFS program, both you and your child will be invited to visit the center of your choice to check out the facilities and meet the center staff, who will take you through the highlights of the program.

DFS has a transparent fee policy. The Fees attributes are divided into three parts Enrolment Fees, Annual Fees and Monthly/Quarterly fees.
Enrolment covers Registration, Admission and Security fees components. These are one-time fees to be paid during admission in DFS Pre-School.

Annual Fee covers Activity charges (In-house Parties, Events & Celebrations) & Welcome Kit charges (Book Set & whole year Stationary and supplies etc.). These charges are applicable every year. Monthly charges include Tuition Fees, Meals, CCTV & Transportation. These charges are to be paid quarterly as per the deadline.

Please note: Monthly inhouse activities and celebrations are part of the school curriculum and if a student does not attend for whatever reason, there is no reduction or refund in the Tuition Fee.

Fees are subject to an annual increase in accordance with the School budget. Fees and the curricular items they include are assessed and confirmed preceding the following year. Parents are notified each year.

Fees once submitted is non-refundable & non-adjustable.

DFS Preschool adheres to the following guidelines, which are designed to promote the most equitable and consistent allocation of available funds. Certain privileges are offered on the fee available across branches in the following categories:

Advance Start

By registering (Registration & Admission fees to be paid) your child between 0-1 years of age & joining at 2, you get to save Rs. 1000/- on the monthly fee. Not only this, any time-related inflation or increase in the fee will not affect you at all.

Upon registration

the child and parents become members of the DFS family and are thereafter invited for all the events and orientations related to parenting and importance of Pre-School education, even before their child actually joins the school.

Corporate Discount

We offer a discount of up to 30% on monthly fee to parents who seek admission of their child in the school through the corporate channel.

Noble Profession

Teachers, doctors & defense personnel are honored with a special discount (25% on Admission Fees) in this category.

Single Mother or Divorced Mother

In the case of a divorce or separation, the school requires each parent/guardian to file an application and submit all related documents. Though school is not bound by any divorce agreement or any other legal agreement for providing any financial aid. If the case is considered, We offer a discount of up to 50% on Admission Fees and 10% discount on monthly tuition fees.

Sibling

All real siblings enjoy a special privilege on the regular fee structure. To qualify for sibling discounts, each child must attend the school at the same time. Sibling discounts apply to admission fees only. We offer a discount of up to 50% on Admission Fees only if first admission has not opted for any discounts.

Annual Discount

A 2.5% discount is offered for paying fees annually upfront. If you would like to participate in the annual upfront discount, please contact our center head.

Apply for Financial Assistance

WELCOME TO THE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROCESS

We use application process to provide financial assistance. Based on the information you provide, we provide an estimate of the amount your family should contribute towards fees.

The purpose of the Financial Assistance Program is to support qualified preschool students who would not be able to attend DFS Preschool without Financial assistance. In order for a family to receive a financial assistance award, which is based solely on financial need, they must meet the financial assistance criteria (Subsidies) established by DFS. For new students, the admission and financial assistance processes are administered independent of one another with no decisions regarding financial assistance being made until admission decisions are finalized. Please note that financial aid is not guaranteed. As an institution we do the best we can with the resources we have in order to extend financial assistance. Additionally, we recognize that there are school expenses beyond tuition, so the school provides additional assistance for expenses such as books, activity fees, transportation, field trips, and the lunch program.

Awards are made based upon our Financial Assistance Guidelines, an analysis of each family’s need within the limitation of budgeted funds, and in keeping with the Principals of Good Practice.

The DFS Financial Assistance Committee implements policies and procedures and makes all financial assistance decisions. While the Committee reviews the details of the applications while determining the amount of financial assistance that may be offered to an applicant, the final decision is based on the Committee’s analysis of financial need. The Committee will not review and process any financial assistance award until application forms have been submitted received by DFS.

Parents are reminded of the various options available for paying school fees. DFS offers several ways to make payments to the school. You can make all payments online with our secure online payment system.

  1. By cheque: please ensure that your cheque is crossed and made payable to “ANURA CHILD CARE FOUNDATION” and the word “Or Bearer” crossed out.

Educational

After your payment has been made, please send us the payment evidence by email the pay-in slip to info@firststepedu.net with your child’s name, class and center location.

Late Payment

A late payment of school fees will be charged INR 100 per day after exceeding the payment deadline.

Refunds Policy

  • Any Fees submitted once is non-refundable & non-adjustable in any known or unknown circumstances, except
    security fees.
  • The refund procedure will be processed after receiving written notice of withdrawal.
  • The withdrawal form is required to complete and submit to Admissions office before the relevant deadline (please refer to conditions below). Should the withdrawal form be submitted later than the deadline, school reserves the right to retain the fees.
  • Transfer to another city or country too does not lead to refund of other fee particulars except security fees.
